Custom carpentry, fine woodworking, and reliable home repair — built on trust, delivered with precision, and rooted in real relationships.
Growing up, I played in the woodshop in our garage. As I got older, that turned into mowing yards, landscaping, and helping small landlords keep their properties together. A decade-plus of homeownership and being the "handy" friend led to making my own furniture and a genuine love of solving problems with wood. By the time I went pro, the only thing that changed was having business cards.
I came to this work professionally after years in nonprofit and relationship-centered work, and I brought that same ethos with me: show up with integrity, listen well, and treat the job the way I'd want someone treating mine. My clients trust me with their keys, their to-do lists, and their most personal spaces. That trust isn't something I take lightly. Whether I'm building a custom dining table, constructing a deck, or knocking out your Saturday repair list on a Wednesday — I bring the same precision, honesty, and good humor to every job.
Every household is welcome here. I work with families of all kinds and pride myself on creating a comfortable, respectful experience from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
Built on trust, referrals, and repeat clients — not ads.
Thoughtful work that's built to last and finished right.
Every household deserves quality craft and respect.
From ground-up deck construction to a stubborn door hinge — I bring the same level of care to everything I touch.
Full deck builds from design through permitting and construction, plus repair and resurfacing of existing decks. In composite or treated lumber. My most in-demand service — and where my precision really shows.
Fine furniture, built-ins, custom shelving, hand rails, accent walls, and structural framing. Whether it lives in your living room or holds up your house, I build it to last.
Paint, trim, and the detail work that transforms a space. I handle the finishing touches that make a room feel done — really done.
The to-do list you've been putting off? Hand it over. Fixture swaps, door adjustments, hardware installs, weatherization, and all the small stuff that adds up. Job minimum: $200.
Smart home installs, fixture swaps, assembly projects, and the in-between jobs that don't quite fit a category. If it's in your house and needs attention, let's talk.
A selection of projects across deck builds, custom carpentry, interior finishing, and repair work.
I don't advertise — my work speaks for itself, and my clients speak for me.
Tony was an excellent thought partner and craftsperson, working on my bookshelf project. He helped me think through how I would use the furniture and worked with me to draft and modify the design until we got it right. He made thoughtful material recommendations - considering cost, function, and looks. The final product is beautiful, well-constructed, and fits my needs perfectly. I was so happy with the process and end results!
We needed a craftsman/carpenter for some custom woodwork to maintain the aesthetic of our 1932 home. Tony took time to understand what we were thinking, provided us with options, explained the price for each option, and outlined the pros and cons of materials and design. He was efficient in completing the job without rushing. As a result, the project blends right in with the house, it was done ahead of schedule, and, most importantly, Tony was a pleasure to work with.
Tony is a skilled craftsman who takes pride in his work. He pays attention to small details and I trust his judgement. Tony designed and built a porch that was within our budget and met all our wants. Consistent and thoughtful communication during the entire project. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality work.
We were looking for someone with an eye for detail and an understanding of matching the design and craftsmanship of our older home, while providing updated functionality and accessibility. We hired Tony to build and install two railings in our home, both of which were not straight-forward or simple. Tony is a true professional — he is upfront about his skillset and experience, he is a great communicator throughout projects, and he's trustworthy. He possesses an artistic eye and a curiosity about each project that produces beautiful and functional results.
Tony is everything you hope for in a handyman and custom carpenter. His communication is excellent—he keeps me in the loop, provides clear timelines, and gives accurate, detailed pricing estimates so there are never surprises. His workmanship is outstanding — everything he creates is solid, thoughtfully designed, and built to last. Tony is also a great thought partner—open to new ideas and collaboration. I had an idea to turn an old rowboat into bookshelves, and he enthusiastically turned my vision into reality. He's professional, dependable, and honest and trustworthy. I can't recommend him highly enough.
I feel grateful and lucky to have a contractor who I trust 100% to do jobs I simply can't do and to do them to exacting standards. I like how Tony is honest about what he can't do as well. I like that he not only asks for feedback but also puts it into action.
Transparency matters. Here's where I work, when I'm available, and what falls outside my scope — so there are no surprises.
Most of my work falls within about a 15-minute drive of Milwaukee's east side — roughly a 4-mile radius covering neighborhoods like Shorewood, Glendale, Whitefish Bay, and the surrounding area.
Outside that area? I'm always open to considering a longer drive within for the right project — send me details of your project and I'll let you know.
At present, I only take on work within Milwaukee County.
I'm a husband and dad to young kids and family comes first. I work primarily Monday through Friday during the day, with limited evening and weekend availability on a case-by-case basis.
I'm thorough, not rushed — if you have a timeline in mind, mention it upfront so we can make sure it works for both of us.
I'm honest about my limits. For these, I'll refer you to someone I trust:
Every project starts with clear communication — no pressure, no upselling.
Fill out the form with as much detail as you can. The more I know upfront, the better.
I'll look over your project details and follow up if it's a good fit. Not every inquiry leads to a call — but I'll always let you know where things stand.
We get on the same page about scope, expectations, and timing. I'll put together an estimate focused on communication and alignment — and I'm always open to questions.
I show up on time, do the work right, and leave your space cleaner than I found it.
No commitment required. Just tell me what you're working with and I'll get back to you within a few business days.
Submit the form and I'll review your project details. If it's a good fit, I'll follow up to discuss next steps. Photos are especially helpful — attach anything that shows the space, existing condition, or inspiration.
